Diving at Lao Liang

Skin Diving
(Snorkeling)
Uniqueness of dive sites here are the seven-colored
soft corals the famous of Trang sea.Usually, this coral beauty
is preserved for only scuba divers as you can find them deep in
the sea; however,here at Lao Liang island, these corals are all
around at just 2-3 meters depth. Notonly soft corals are common
here, but just few meters off the beach you will alsofind beautiful
sea fans, hard corals, table corals, lace corals, mushroomcorals,anemone
clownfish, nudibranchs, batfish, groupers, etc. Especially, at particulartime
when the water level is at minimum, you can walk into the sea and
see coralsbesides your feet. All these wonderful natures are waiting
to impressyou.

Scuba - Deep
diving
Explore new diving areas around Laoling Island. Never visited by
divers until now. Ranging from ten to more than twenty meters underwater
are several diving spots in Petra Archipelago, Andaman Sea. Westside
of Petra Island, Tu Lui Nong Island and Tu Lui Pee Island are the
all-kind-underwater-creature sanctuary. Soft corals, hard corals,
mushroom corals, lace corals, sea fans, moray eels, blue-spot rays,
frogfish, anemone clownfish, groupers, parrotfish, filefish, angelfish,
bannerfish, lionfish, lobster, trevally, barracuda, sea horses,
cardinalfish, nudibranchs, giant clam, batfish, and coral crab are
just samples of underwater creatures here.
Moreover, you can pack your gears into a kayak and sail to a diving
spot nearby by yourself or charter our 33' powerboat equipped with
twin 200HP Yamaha engines and 1 on-board toilet and cruise to Red
Rock and Purple Rock, one of the most beautiful dive site in Thailand,
full of red and purple soft corals and tons of fish, just a little
more than an hour from Lao Liang Island.

Discover
SCUBA
If to have a Scuba license is too much trouble for you, on the Lao
Liang Island we have Discover SCUBA package to let you experience
the underwater wolrd without hours in classroom and hours in swimming
pool. One on one with PADI instructor and you will be accompanied
hand-in-hand to dive along with beautiful soft corals and schools
of ocean fish, the experience that you will never forget. After
your trial, you can decide to pursue the license or not.

Kayaking
For those who love kayaking, Lao Liang Island is a-must destination.
These small twin islands are just big enough to sweat you to kayak
around. The beautiful West-side cliff is beautiful and waits for
your visit. Under the blue sky and the sunshine in the morning,
you can't find a better place for kayaking.
Other than regular exercising kayak, here at Laoliang Island, you
can pack your diving gears on kayak and row yourself to diving spot
at the tip of the island. Or, checklist your fishing equipment and
find yourself a nice spot of your challenge. At Laoliang Island,
rock climbing often start a new route from the water, of course
from Kayak

Climbing
If you prefer the height, Lao Liang Island is your mountain. The
limit is yourself as hundred climbing routes at the limestone cliffs
here are waiting for you adventure.
From 4c to 7c+, climbing routes here wil catch your breath with
the challenge and the gorgeous scenery. For Rai-Lay lovers, you
will find the similarity but with more privacy and truly untouched
nature. No matter how expert you are, Lao Liang Islands are your
climbing destination.

Fishing
เกาะเหลาเหลียงเป็นแหล่งที่ชุกชุมไปด้วยปลานานาชนิดดังนั้นท่านสามารถที่จะ ตกปลาเล็กๆ
เช่นปลาเก๋า ปลาตะมะ ปลากะพง ได้บริเวณหน้าหาด
หรือถ้าต้องการ ปลากะมง ปลาน้ำดอกไม้ ปลาสาก ก็สามารถนั่งเรือออกไปตกรอบๆเกาะเหลาเหลียงได้

Chicken Crab
Well, we're not sure how to call them. Should they be chicken or
crab as they makes chicken noise at night and do not swim. Yes,
these crabs are very rare. They can climb the trees and live on
the cliff. No..no.. Not in the water.
They are big and in the early morning they will make a "Jip Jip"
noise. That's why we call them "Chicken Crab"
